Trauma, Healing and The Gift of Forgiveness with Auschwitz Survivor Dr Edith Eger

Today’s conversation is a powerful one. Dr. Edith Eger is a Holocaust survivor, psychologist and expert in the treatment of post-traumatic stress. At 94 years old, she has some incredible words of wisdom, courage and comfort to share.

No stranger to grief and trauma, Edith and her family were sent to Auschwitz in 1944 when she was only 16 years old. She has gone on to share her incredible story of trauma, resilience, hope and survival in two bestselling books: The Choice and The Gift. Her work provides powerful lessons on healing and the power of choice and hope – things that many of us need after experiencing loss.

In this thought-provoking conversation, Dr. Eger shares her wisdom on how we can help ourselves heal from traumatic experiences in life and why the key is in our pocket. We discuss the gift of forgiveness, the importance of not being a victim in life and how you can find hope in hopelessness, plus much more.

We hope you take as much from this conversation as we did.
